Principal’s Message

Principal

I would like to welcome you to Sacred Heart Primary. We are a small community where the staff, parents and parish work together to support the spiritual, academic, social, physical and creative development of each child.

Our staff members are dedicated and hardworking. Parent involvement in the school is welcomed and appreciated. Our parents are wonderfully supportive and our children’s love for learning inspires us all. Many people say our school has a warm friendly feel to it and is like a large family.

We are a learning community that has a particular focus on Kagan Co-operative Learning, where children and staff, work together and respect others’ ideas and opinions. We teach children how to relate to others, how to make choices and how to learn. We also teach children how to think and problem solve, and how to use tools that are relevant to learning in the 21st Century.

Children tell me school is fun and they love all the different experiences we provide for them. We hope that when they leave our school, they will be people of faith, love and compassion. Jesus opened his heart to others. We want our students to live out, in their daily lives, the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

God Bless.
